I read that post and wondered what the hell it was all about.

Everyone on the planet knows that Tillerson doesn't represent the views of the POTUS. He clearly said that Trump's views are his own. (After the "very fine people" remark.)

He's assured Mexico that Trump didn't mean it when his talk about a military operation. He said it when Trump yammered away about taking oil from those we invade.

Who in their right mind is under the illusion that Trump and Tillerson are on the same page?

The ruckus isn't because NBC spilled the beans.

Really..we have major media reporting on name calling ? That's childish and immature.
And that garnished headlines today ?

I'm glad Tillerson didn't stoop to that low and took the high road and called it "petty stuff".
Maybe the president should follow his lead, because he sure don't have a problem following up petty issues, and going back and forth on twitter over really petty things. Especially if something said about him that he doesn't like, he can't help but respond. So if the president can stoop to all sorts of level, why can't Tillerson. That's one of the biggest complaint against Trump, his need to respond to every little thing.

Trump: "Go out and give a press conference and deny you called me a moron."

Tillerson: "That will only make a big deal out of it. Better to just let it blow over."

Trump: "I said do it."

>>click<<

Tillerson: muttering, "Moron."

I guess that doesn't apply to the president.

If it HAD to be a Republican president, why couldn't it be Rex Tillerson?

"Every administration has been stocked with successful people that have done things in the real world."

Obama's cabinet and admin was "stocked" with people from academia and gov't NOT successful business people.

Tillerson is in a tough spot -- poorly regarded in his own State Dept., disdained by Congress, resented by the WH, and ignored by foreign leaders.

Now folks in the Pentagon are leaking to reporters that he refers to Trump as an "f-ing moron."

Diplomacy is what being Secretary of State of State is all about and it appears that is not Tillerson's long suit.

BTW, the title of this thread is a lie.

Neither the media nor the elites (which in R-world means anyone with a full set of teeth and two wits to rub together) are not the ones getting spanked here.

Tillerson called it like it is.

Trump's a moron and the whole world knows it.
