And no, you're not moderate because my post was directed at right wing nutters...and you took it personally enough to jump right on it. If I had a nickel for every right winger who tried to dress up as a"moderate/independent"....LOL. Busted!

Sexual harassment and sexual assault are always wrong, always!
Nah I busted you because the left is just as hypocritical as the right on the topic and you can waltzing in like it's just the OTHER guys

You can't fix mental illness of that caliber, fortunately it's just the furthest extreme partisans.

We've got Clinton\Trump, Ailes\Weinstein, O'reilly\Letterman and hundreds more.

The only really good take away from these debacles is to recognize just how non-partisan and widespread this type of scumbaggery is and how we shouldn't turn a blind eye to it or we ourselves are part of the problem. (looking squarely at you Hollywood, you've got some real soul searching to do on this one because YOU KNEW.)

If he voted for Trump we would of known right away .
He would of been called a bigot and racist .

But with this the media kept it under wraps .

It is interesting that Mia Farrow's son was instrumental in this story.

Weinstein is disgusting, but Roman is worse. Drugging and raping a 13-year-old.

And Hollywood gave him a standing ovation.

To be fair, we have no idea if they knew about his reputation.

Of course, based on Hillary's reaction to Bill, she probably wouldn't have cared what Weinstein did, but that's only an assumption.

Saw the Matt Damon response on CNN just now.

He's doing the "well I never saw anything" followed by "I'll be more alert in the future"

These types of things aren't something you spot out in the open, like a deer standing by the side of the road.

Not exactly correct. A more accurate assessment is that many, MANY people in the entertainment industry chose to remain silent about Weinstein for years out of fear or apathy or "That's just the way it is in the business." Some are choosing to remain silent now because they are trying to not get shot down in an industry that is already showing signs of celebrity fatigue. Americans are weary of sanctimonious actors like Robert DeNiro, George Clooney, and Brie Larson telling us that we are all stupid about immigration and economics, but they still want us to line up for $15 tickets to watch their ridiculous remake and keep them a bankable star. Or, like the Obamas, they are trying to determine how to spin it so they won't look too stupid (too late for Obama).
