Man the comments here are deluded, but i guess it's the same thing when discussing these two all over the internet. Hint: If you are posting something like who? or he doesn't know who he isz?s? without actually adding anything to the thread but an uneducated opinion then you need to take a look at yourself, you are the part of the reason that misinformation and orchestrated propaganda efforts are being a lot easier for big groups and more prevalent. How about doing some proper research first or some actual analysis. (And i am talking to both the pro-trump and against trump users because both side have a lot of morons like anything..) - https://www.dni.gov/files/documents/ICA_2017_01.pdf heres the counter intelligence report if you don't believe me.

Now in regards to the actual topic, of course Trump knows who Eminem is, i mean heres him praising mac miller as the next Eminem before he decided to sue miller

. Eminem was the biggest and highest selling artist between 2000 - 2010 not to mention he was a lot more controversial than Trump, refusing to follow the status quo. (The guy craps on the Grammys in 2000 with real slim shady then went on to be awarded 15 of them, meanwhile he was at home asleep when they announced he won his oscar) Of course hes not the same as he was in the 00s but anyone questioning his credibility is being stubborn, he is one of the most well known artists with an enormous following/influence including most of the current fad popstars of today given he helped most of them when they first blew up. His last few albums despite being well under par were at the top of highest grossing albums during the years they were released Overall he is up there on the list of most record sales in history sitting at around 170m excl his d12 sales. Taking that into account it's not smart move to be feuding with an artist with such an influence, but that has never stopped Trump before so this is all educated guesses.
TLDR: start here

2 possible reasons

1: It's widely documented that every well known celeb or rapper know never to diss eminem. There are countless celebs on youtube that mention it such as Beyonce, on the few occasions someone did offend him he ended up lyrically destroying them in a song. Even in the early stages of his career at the 2000 mtv awards he rapped his famous line from slim shady about being stuck between Fred Durst and Carson Daly having to listen to them argue over which one Christina Aguilara gave head to first, while he shook carson dalys hand right as he raps it
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KbHPpdPhlic - The game explains it here almost cringeworthy because the interviewer didn't expect him to back down. Mariah Carey tried trashing his career by denying their relationship and releasing obsessed because he dumped her while she was mid breakdown and binging on drugs in 02. She shut up after he released the warning shot -
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xVnnWc4JPkA . There is no doubt Trump has made a conscious decision (or been advised) not to hit back straight away and it could certainly be because he knows it's a bad move if history repeats and Eminem follows up any response with a chart topping song that could add to his 15 grammys where Trump is the plot. Eminem got to where he is from destroying everyone in these types of battles and can sink as low as he wants while Trump must at least maintain some presidential standards. If this is the case, it's an impressive calculated move from trump to let it die down which is a change from his impulsive moves in the past. I'm sure his advisors made him aware of how the effect that Mosh had on G.W Bushes public perception as well.

2) NFL feud is enough for now, he will focus on that and essentially if there is a major incident/controversy or something he doesn't want people to focus on then he has this eminem feud up his sleeve which he can respark at anytime with a simple tweet and let Em steal all the attention with a controversial rap so people forgot or don't notice the previous controversy.

Trump will go after Meryl Streep and Bob Corker. But Trump and the whole White House was dead silent about Eminem.

Is Trump afraid of Eminem?
Trump doesn't respond to men. Stephen Colbert went nuclear on Trump, no response from Trump.

Eminem became popular when Trump was in his mid 50s. I doubt he’s ever listened to any of his music. I’d say that around 30 something a lot of adults stop following every new person coming on the pop scene. I’m not even THAT old and I probably can’t name any rappers younger than 30.

Trump seems to have unlimited time to screw around with petty word fights on Twitter. SURELY he can work some Eminem insults in between his rounds of golf?..

lol na. Eminem was the biggest artist in the world at his peak and impossible to avoid. He was a regular feature on the news and talkback due to all the controversy he kept generating. This was back before smart phones when people actually watched the news and the world wasn't used to such an outrageous artist. Not to mention if Trump attended any of the biggest events in New York or LA. Hell Trump was probably at the mtv awards in 0000 where Eminem completely destroyed half the popstars in the crowd, or maybe the 01 grammys when Eminem was front page news prior to it for using gay slurs and being homophobic until he rocks out Elton John to perform Stan. Even White America at the 02 mtv awards was a big deal although by then he was well established as the biggest star in the world.

People really have short term memory as to just how big he use to be, most people i know hate his Oscar winning - lose yourself song because it was played on loop everywhere for the best part of 5 years. 15 Grammys, an Oscar and edging out the beatles as the highest selling artist of the decade from 1999-2009. Virtually all his top songs were controversial and widely debated with his battle against the govt and censorship.

I mean heres a sample from a month or two news coverage in 2000

I am so sick of the MAGA. Our country has always been the best. If you don't believe that, then leave. But with Trump in office we aren't MAGA anymore. We are at the low totem poll. Our country used to be the best and envied by everyone. Now we are hated and not the leader anymore. You probably like that, but I want to be the super power in the world again....envied and loved.
