AT LEAST HALF THE COUNTRY SEES IT OTHERWISE. This is not hyperbole, this is not an exaggeration, you are alienating tens and tens of thousands of people. It is completely customary to stand and show respect to the flag and anthem. To intentionally kneel is to willingly fail to show respect and making a statement against said flag and country. The only reason you are in cognitive dissidence of this is taking sides to now equate it as a fight for justice when in fact it is disrespecting the United States, the very country responsible for all your rights and freedoms
At least half of the country voted for Trump. Who cares what they think?
In fact, that is the problem, they don't, and when they do, they usually get it wrong.

Yes from concentrated echo chambers. County voters representing over 70% of the land mass of the United States voted against Clinton. There is a colossal disconnect here and I wouldn't be so confident you're on the righteous side
I did not bring it up, the NFL itself issued wide press releases last night declaring their support for the bill. They have made an executive decision to officially wade into social activism and lobby for social legislation in order to placate the players disrespecting the country during the anthem.
I agree, the bill has nothing to do with the NFL - however, the NFL now has a lot to do with that bill.
A bill mind you that doesn't endorse illegal drug use as you misrepresented in your post on the topic. Instead it simply wants to decrease sentences on first-time offenders. Which maybe a good idea because in a way we are over policed when it comes to drug possession and traffic tickets. Which is part of what the players are trying to bring to light in their protests. Well on top of police brutality during pullovers as I mentioned before to deaf ears from you...

Not even, only half of the voters did. The turnout this year was abysmal. 235 million Americans could vote based on age 130 million voted, that is 100 million who didn't vote this time around...
Right we agree, ergo the NFL is taking a stand declaring its desire for leniency towards illegal drug use
This is what the NFL has made a stand on.
Again with the strawman. Stop it already. You were proven wrong and you keep digging deeper and doubling down on it. You sure aren't Trump, that is his M.O. after all.

Hilarious. So you are saying you are on the righteous side? You sure do love your misinformation.

I'm saying that roughly 50% of a near third billion people having a completely opposite viewpoint on a wide range of issues can't simply be dismissed as a bunch of low IQ bigoted racists lacking in culture and sophistication. Both sides have positions which are not the moral/ethical high ground . The left likes to assume everything they do is utopian and just
