They are working fast on the 30-foot sections of the Wall, eight different designs to provide examples of what various companies will submit for the eventual contract(s).

It's about time.

I live about 20 miles from them. Might cruise by there sometime to have a look. And buy some drinks for the construction workers and guards if I can get to them. They deserve it.

This site will probably become Ground Zero for all the protestors, open-borders crowds, antifas, and other whiny temper-tantrum throwers. The cops seem ready for them, with "No Parking" signs on every road within a few miles of the wall prototypes and, no doubt, large fleets of tow trucks and wheels boots.

Bring it on.

The left wants a civil war and now they got it. But how are they going to fight it if they take away our guns?

Not sure this matter at all..just some prototypes..no money has been appropriated by anyone--while there are some House bills pending....nothing could ever get past the Senate..even if something passed the House..which is not a given.

But keep dreamin'---

Please quote anybody of the "left" on here that advocated a civil war. Only one talking about a war is you.

Only a few (Antifas, Carville etc.) have called for outright war.

Most of the rest are hoping that conservatives and other normal Americans will surrender without firing a shot, as they have done so often in the past.

The election of Donald Trump has dashed that hope.

Too bad, lobbies. Elections have consequences.

How is this a response to this? "Please quote anybody of the "left" on here that advocated a civil war on here. Only one talking about a war is you.?"

Please try again.

The left won't be able to fight cause they are the only ones stupid enough to blindly turn in their guns. They'll be like sitting ducks in a pond.......

Bad bet. The cartels already have tunnels going across the border.

the wall is a wasteful foolish idea thats loved by those who cannot comprehend just how foolish of an idea it is.

Mandatory e-verify, enhanced penalties for employment, or rental to illegals would have 1000X the effect that this wall would, and cost 1000X less.
