Trump got more votes in those counties than he got in the state's more urban counties even if he didn't win those counties.

No he didn't. Contra Costa and Alameda Counties had more votes for Trump than any of those counties did.

Because the population is so much higher on those counties. You have to look as a percentage of the vote in the county.

I'm fully aware of that. I'm not the one claiming that those smaller counties still got more votes for Trump than the larger urban counties.

I'm glad he's not coming to visit and I'd rather him say nothing at all since he's completely incapable of empathy (his remarks about fallen soldiers are unconscionable). California doesn't need his"Puerto Rico" treatment of trying to kick people when they're downtrodden and desperate for help. The sad thing is that if he had a winery he cared about, he'd be on the first flight out to Wine Country.

What a crock.

Percentage-wise.

Trump probably got more votes in San Francisco than he did in some of the state's red counties (let alone those counties) if you're just going by numbers alone, but in terms of percentages....

So? Either way he lost by significant margins. Not sure why you think Wine Country of all places would be welcoming to Trump. 70% of Sonoma County voted for Clinton.

California's leaders declared California a sanctuary state. What do you expect?
