Fun fact I just saw in a news report. Papadopolous proposed that Trump meeting up with the Russian officials during their security meeting. Trump wasn't opposed to the idea, but Sessions rejected Trump going.
So now we have an adviser setting up meetings with the Russians, and Trump admitting he'd be willing to do it.
If you read the indictment Papa was trying to set up meetings every other week with his emails to campaign supervisors.
The Russians don't care which party wins elections. Gaining influence through lobbyists, lawyers, politicians themselves is what they are after.

There's nothing illegal about meeting with foreign diplomats. Every presidential campaign does this.
These weren't diplomats, and no it's not legal to setup meetings in order to coordinate an attack on an American election.
It's funny how we see no secret meetings with Britain, or France, or China, or Australia. Only Russia. Every single shady thing that's happened with the Trump campaign only involves Russia.

Yup, and his supervisors were Clovis, a Trump aide currently awaiting Senate confirmation for a USDA position he's 100% unqualified for. And Jeff Sessions, who lied to Congress 2 or 3 times about his secret meetings with the Russians.
