If you read the indictment Papa was trying to set up meetings every other week with his emails to campaign supervisors.

I thought the Trump campaign had nothing to do with Russia. Is that still true?

So far, yes that is still true.

Manafort and Gates...tax evasion from Ukraine dealings
Papa for lying to the FBI

Nothing regarding bribery, treason, blackmail with Russia yet although I guess everyone is waiting for those charges.

^ This

There are thousands of Russian-connected people in D.C. trying to influence politicians to get sanctions, mainly the McKenzie Act, rolled back, in exchange for Russian oligarchs laundering money into their "foundations", real estate, etc.

Still, Russiagate is all about trying to convince the public that the 2016 election results were a sham. That's the huge joke: troll farms, fake news, etc. If the last election was a sham, then so were Obama's elections. It's like people think that internet propaganda didn't exist until recently. There was propaganda on both sides, some of it having foreign origin, and it's useless to debate which side had it worse.

Trump means nothing to the Russians. It's Congress they're after since it's Congress that makes the rules.
And how do you get to Congress ? By wining and dining and contributing to their campaign coffers..lobbyists.

People aren't going to change their minds about who they are going to vote for because of a Facebook ad.
And the voting demographics of 2016 didn't change except for the fact that more minorities stayed home.

These weren't diplomats, and no it's not legal to setup meetings in order to coordinate an attack on an American election.

It's funny how we see no secret meetings with Britain, or France, or China, or Australia. Only Russia. Every single shady thing that's happened with the Trump campaign only involves Russia.

Yup, totally not-suspicious at all.

Good point.

Where are the reports of team Trump meeting multiple times with diplomats from the UK, Germany, Mexico, Canada, Australia, China, Italy, France, Spain, Greece, Poland, Norway, Sweden, Egypt, Israel, ....?

Yup, and his supervisors were Clovis, a Trump aide currently awaiting Senate confirmation for a USDA position he's 100% unqualified for. And Jeff Sessions, who lied to Congress 2 or 3 times about his secret meetings with the Russians.
