No worries Trump and the Republican Party will fix this for the seniors. After they cut taxes for the wealthy, convert Medicare into a voucher system and start a new war in North Korea or Iran, America's seniors will be winning so much they won't have time to eat.

This is another case of reaping what you sow. Voters in Oklahoma overwhelmingly choose to elect austerity minded trickle down economics loving Republicans. So I have little sympathy when those same voters are hoisted on their own budget cutting petard.

Can the OP explain how red state budget cuts were caused by poor children and their parents?

What a tragedy that while poor families get huge $6,200 tax credits, up to $50,000 a year in housing assistance and tremendous amounts of WIC and EBT that America's senior-citizens are starving.

Would be nice if the Republicans would eliminate the safety-net for families who don't have disabled children.

I think it is okay to have good safety-net for physically disabled children, but it is tremendously sad that while these families have baby after baby and pregnant on a yearly basis for more money that so many senior-citizens are starving.
Yawn.

What’s the matter? Did you run out of liberal cities to criticize?

Boring thread. Quit your trolling, will ya?

Have you considered maybe improving the safety net for the elderly instead of taking it away from others?

It is worth noting Lovecrowds, here in the USA we have lots of hungry people because worker rights have been eroded to almost zero over the last 40 years.

The result is people have no choice but to accept awful pay and awful terms or watch their families go cold and hungry.

You can pretend everyone is lazy except the small group you identify with, but the reality is this nation is a winner takes all state. It is unforgiving and quick to blame.
we have old people going hungry because people like yourself keep voting to fund prisons and bombs before social safety nets..

1. The Seniors ARE on Welfare. A vast percentage of our tax money goes to people 65+
2. When TrumpCare kicks in they will have to buy and cook dogfood in bulk to nutrition.

I see it all the time. In NJ and in Fl they live good. The illegal men in NJ would make $1500 a week and their women would live on welfare. They would brag about it too. No shame , none.
Anchor babies are American citizens and are entitled to the same rights and benefits as you or anyone else. The rest of your post is just the same old race bating welfare queen schtick the right wing has been peddling for decades.
