"In Hitler's Germany, they believed in this, too. They called it Gleichschaltung, which my dictionary tells me means 'bringing into line'. A cardinal sin in Joseph Stalin's Russia was inakomyslie, which we translate as dissidence, but which literally means 'thinking differently'.
For those defending this woman what you are saying is that an employee making the news leading a KKK rally should not be fired? That's different right?
Whether you are flipping the bird to the President or leading a KKK rally that is reflective upon my judgement as an employer, it can and will effect my business.
She was on her bike on her DAY OFF when she flipped the bird to the Presidential Motorcade. She was not wearing ANY item of clothing or carrying ANY thing that indicated her employer.
