It's no big deal (she's young...she'll find employment elsewhere). If it was the other way around, she would have been fired as well.

For those defending this woman what you are saying is that an employee making the news leading a KKK rally should not be fired? That's different right?

Whether you are flipping the bird to the President or leading a KKK rally that is reflective upon my judgement as an employer, it can and will effect my business.

So much for free speech...bye buy American values, it was nice while it lasted.
Free speech for doing something that your employer can be hurt by? Where do you get that right?

Showing disrespect to *authorities" in rather benign way and being associated with KKK is not one and the same thing, since KKK is not a "benign" organization.

So here comes the question - why the employer should get hurt?
On what ground, if it's "free country," ( supposedly so) and everyone is allowed to express his/her opinion?

Your opinion is irrelevant to what my customers may think.

Woman fired after giving Trump’s motorcade the finger | New York Post
I'm a liberal, hate trump, and I think her employer had every right to fire her over that. You gotta admit it was in poor taste.

Free speech insures that government is not interfere with that right, the only time this extends to private citizens/companies is if someone is illegally preventing you from expressing yourself. You have a right to say whatever the hell you want, you do not have a right to work for me if I disagree with what you are saying.
