Wow. It's actually happening ...

Trump never said that Mexico would pay for the prototypes. He said they'd pay for the wall itself. Once again, since you lefties continue to spin this, Trump never said Mexico would pay for it up front he said they would pay for it one way or another. As for me, I really don't care because it's much cheaper to build a $25 billion wall than to continue paying $113 billion a year for illegal aliens.

Where U.S.-Mexico border fence is tall, it works

But numerous cities thru out the US have heroin epidemics going on right now...this means a whole lot of drugs are coming in CONSISTENTLY, do you realize how much dope is needed to keep an entire nation supplied, enough for multiple states to declare heroin epidemics?Doesnt seem like the walls/ fences we have are doing any good.

Trump could build a dome over the entire country and drugs would still get in, desperate people would find a way in.

Reuters had a piece recently where people are walking over the border and turning themselves in, seeking asylum. They are held in detention facilities for up to two years while their cases are adjudicate and they are sent home.

But at least they have a couple years of safety.

At our expense, of course.

Prior to this, they would have been working, contributing the economy, ...

But we can't have that.

I think they look very stylish myself. President Trump was right when he said it would be "big, beautiful border wall"

I like the blue one myself with the ripples on it, it looks very stylish.
Awwww

You got your little prototype for you little pretty wall.

I have to imagine most US law enforcement agencies do not support this wall, many of them heavily rely on the drug and smuggling war for their bread and butter, take out drug crime, drug related crime and border smuggling crime...what are they left with? Would it be enough to justify the HUGE budgets and numerous law enforcement agencies we have now?
