I have a 54 year old female boss, who still to this day attends he daughters high school football games, it's very small town...everyone knows everyone....this is her daughters Junior year of college.....

Alabama would rather have a pedophile representing them than a Democrat. Because, you know, good Christian family values and all that other rot they spout as they wave their Bibles around.
If any have been locked up without evidence? Hell, yes.
It's scary to think you might one day serve on a jury since you think people should be locked up without evidence.
It's scary to think you would serve on a jury since you think rapists should be set free just because it's impossible to "prove" many rapes, and thus many rapists would get off scot free and continue raping.

The presumption of innocence doesn't go that far. However there has to be some ability to cross-examine the accuser. The Sixth Amendment to the Constitution states:No matter how "scared" an accuser may be he or she must still plead his or her case and prove it, beyond a reasonable doubt.
For a criminal conviction. No one has suggested putting Moore in jail.
