I know it's cutting both ways, hitting Leftists Bill Cosby and Harvey Weinstein, among others, but sexual harassment charges seem to be also being leveled against Donald Trump, Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reiley, Eric Bolling, and, now, Roy Moore. The Senate has passed mandatory sexual harassment training.

Considering that the Left likes to hype that there is racism everywhere and we're an incurable racist society that needs a total makeover, I'm wondering if this is the rise of claims that are going to say that we're an overly sexist society where women are oppressed and there will be this big push for more "gender equality" laws. In addition, I'm wondering if this also has to do with a certain woman who lost her dreams of the White House and the Left is planning to try and create this narrative that we're a society of women-haters, etc and that that's why she lost.

Perhaps instead of just leveling charges of racism against opponents, the Left will paint enemies, particularly men as it doesn't work so well with women, as being sexists, and, if they can, as guilty of sexual misconduct.

You're the one trying to make rapists into victims. Maybe your point is our society is too lenient on people who have been sexually assaulted.

To a homeless Vietnam draftee the young female college student being complimented at the bus stop sure doesn't look oppressed.

Yes, it's a nefarious scheme to hold sexual predators responsible for their actions...

Didn't work with Trump, unfortunately. He bragged on tape about how he sexually assaults women and the morally depraved still made him president.

It used to be that if a lady did not appreciate the advances of a man, she slapped him across the face (like the old movies). Now she keeps quiet and sues 30 years later.

Yes, as I said in the original Weinstein thread, this does appear to be a campaign aimed at creating more angry, "woke" women who will vote for female candidates and more actively support feminist and other left wing causes.

There is legitimate sexual harassment which needs to be addressed and then there is Fake Sexual Harassment for political purposes which is primarily done to win political power for Democrats.

No, your last sentence should read "Now she keeps quiet, gets the job offered, and sues 30 years later." She might as well get something out of the whole thing.

And by the way, this has nothing to do with left or right. It has to do with women - and when men finally get it, workplaces will be a lot nicer for women.

Legitimate or fake, it all can be hyped and used to generate angry women who will go to the polls and vote Democrat.
