Of course he should step down. It doesn't matter if the accusations are true or not. What does truth have to do with politics? The accusations, true or not, have legs. The GOP, in it's typical skittish fashion, is abandoning him before the ink on the allegations is even dry. Moore is now down in the polls by double digits...and sinking fast. He needs to step down. If the accusations are true then he deserves what he's getting, and if they are not true, then he got played. The dems are the masters of dirty politics while the GOP is timid and clumsy and always plays in to their hands.

Roy Moore is getting attention because that’s the fate of every public figure who claims to be holier-than-thou. He appears to have violated more than one of the Ten Commandments he’s so fond of displaying

So, yes, he should exit stage.

That's not how any of this works.

Anyone here near a television right now? Turn on MSNBC or CNN and tell us, if they are even reporting on this story at all, what kind of spin are they putting on it?

Actually I've been watching both and they're covering it nonstop.

Roy Moore, on the other hand, still has Hannity in his fan club.

I don't think it is a perfect world and many people have done things 40 years ago that are not the person they really are today. If the allegations are true and recent activity comes forth it is a different story. If this is the case he has got to go.

He is still a creep if these allegations of 40 years ago are true.. Some men are creeps when they date and push the boundaries and think they are God's gift to women.

Should EVERY elected official step down in DC? I say, yes.... and then give a hard look at those appointed to office.

No. I do not believe anyone should lose their job over unrelated allegations especially from decades ago. If he is convicted of a crime, yes. If he was proven to engage in sexual misconduct while in office, yes. But just being accused, no.

The difference in Trump being secretly taped talking trash and individuals stepping up to accuse someone of wrong doing should be obvious. As far as the women who made allegations against Trump I stand by my previous statement. If allegations can be substantiated and are relevant to the current work environment, yes, step down, if not I don't not see a reason to step down.

Part in bold was the more relevant part.

He is a poor example of everything he says he believes in, I hope he would step down. Ultimately it is the citizens of Alabama who have to decide if this is what they want representing them.
