I'm gonna laugh if he comes out tomorrow and says "I'm not leaving" and then cracks some kind of joke like he's back on SNL...

Did you see Bannon's blow up last night in support of more? Wow!

Moore has to drop out now.

They'll probably say the difference is Franken acknowledged some of it, although he said he remembered it happening differently.

But of course all of Moore's accusers, the corroborating witnesses, the cop who was hired to keep him away from cheerleaders at football games, the mall managers who banned him - all liars.

@Timmyy and @OnOurWayHome: I'm only answering the question of what Moore/Trump supporters would say to the first question. They will never believe Moore's victims because they can't see proof of it. Unless you can show proof, then you have to stand by Moore. That's the way they think.

Personally, I think when you have enough victims telling the same story as well as the "mall" issue that was publicly known, you've got a real issue.

There were even women that were not related to any of the victims that said it was "well known" how Moore was.

there was actual evidence against franken, so where is the evidence against moore? with franked, the accusers have come out with complaints less than 40 years old, with moore, the complaints are ALL 40 years old or older, and are suspect to begin with.

for instance, one piece of evidence against moore isnt even being released for examination, why? is it possible that the signature in the yearbook was indeed fake, and these people dont want the case against moore to fall apart completely? and there are conflicting testimonies both for and against moore, one says he was banned from a shopping mall, others say there was no ban, and the mall cant verify one way or another because there are no records from that time period.

one person says moore took her around to a dark areas around a particular restaurant, yet employees of the restaurant say there was no dark area around the restaurant.

so with conflicts in testimony and no physical evidence, we cant get to the truth about moore.

as for al franken, along with the evidence, there is the admission of guilt by franken himself, many times over the years, along with some vile comments franken made, and apologies retracted, etc.

so we have one sitting senator with real evidence against him, AND an admission of guilt, compared to a candidate with mere accusations against him and denials of the accusations by moore, and conflicting testimony of accusers and witnesses.

Franken is in office, Moore is not. What happens to Franken is up to him, the Senate Minority leader, and his Democrat colleagues. His possible resignation does not excuse him of anything, nor does it convict him of anything. It is simply a Democrat abdicating a throne that another less unsavory Democrat will then occupy, in an effort to slightly tidy up some imagery.

Moore is a private citizen running for a seat. Right now, what happens to him gaining/losing office is between him and the voters of the state of Alabama. The RNC could/should pull any funding, but they cannot simply remove him from a ballot. If the voters are not properly dissuaded based on his past misdeeds, that's on them. The GOP would like to block his election, in an effort to not have their imagery become less tidy, but again, that's on the voters right now, not them. His election or lack thereof will neither convict nor excuse him, same as Franken. Just different plays in the Political Theater playbook is all.
