He was a fantastic President because he caved into the Republican plans to cut the deficits, cut taxes, and grow the economy..
He HATED doing all of these things.. he whined, and cried, projected that the nation would collapse, deficits would skyrocket etc...
He opposed what made him so great...
.... But in the end, he signed.
I agree 100%. But that's what made him a pretty good President. The legislator did what it was supposed to do, and the President signed off on it.
He did NOT try to rule with pen and telephone, which was a huge mistake by Obama. Clinton had some ideas, but when they became untenable he was able to accept other ideas. I'm thinking, of course, about his attempt at national healthcare.

Like the giant land mass of hostile nations that surround the speck of sand named Israel, Hillary argues to the goliath position against David.
Bill Clinton wouldn't survive past a first term today period. It just couldn't happen.
