With all the turmoil involving Trump, other "matters "are often forgotten. What do you think is the US greatest challenge today and why?

There are a lot of pressing issues, but I would Start by banning all Lobbies from Washington, they have subverted our government and the Will of the People.

The nation building that goes with our Unconstitutional foreign wars. That is the reason we are in debt and our money has lost it's purchasing power.

Learning that our Constitution does not task us with policing the world or building other nations and accepting it.

Th greatest challenge is to somehow separate the Democrat party from the mass media. The Right has Fox and conservative talk shows while the Left has everything else in their back pocket. The danger in this is that most of the news that we hear is heavily biased towards the Left where their antics are spun, under reported or skipped over entirely.

Trump gives the media plenty of ammo but their never ending hammering of him is putting many on edge and dividing the country.

The media needs to be unbiased and go back to reporting the facts so we can make up our own minds on a topic.

Finding a way to have authoritarian collectivists coexist with free human beings. Until we can stop the aggression of State upon the individual. At this point we really need two nations if anyone is to be happy.
