Reagan did nothing for this country that left a legacy, he was all hat, no cattle. I remember the $600 hammers that Reagan was buying by the planeload, he ratcheted up the debt. He stood by as the Soviet Union imploded and claimed credit for it. Pfft, he did nothing. He tucked tail and ran from Lebanon and invaded………….wait for it………..Grenada. Lol.

Pres. Obama reversed a looming economic depression left for him by another outgoing Republican President who left a mess for his Democratic successor. He had our economy humming and once again a Republican will come along and screw everything up.

My state has a slush fund it uses to give state tax abatement to induce corporations to move here.

If the state has a disaster, they use FEMA's money.

I agree.
Had his counterpart been someone like Andropov instead of Gorbachev, all his "legacy" and "Berlin wall" would have gone up in smokes.

This. Why should folks rate any persons' post over any other group of posters?

Okay you make a good point ,but if Reagan didn't have a legacy why did Bush Sr get elected after him? The Republicans manage to control the White House for 12 years.

You didn't think Obama at least sounded optimistic and uplifting in 2008? When he ran for president?

Reagan helped give us a robust economy. Obama gave us economic malaise, and a hollow, jobless recovery. Reagan brought down the USSR, communism, and the Wall. Obama gave us more DEBT than ALL previous Presidents. Reagan was a statesman. Obama was a Community Organizer, radical activist stooge.

You've got to be a far left LOON to pick Obama. Ah yes, I see the list. The usual Commie suspects.

Obama was elected during the recession. You just can't fix that overnight. Reagan was an actor who became a statesman. Obama did great community work and became a statesmen. Both were eloquent in speaking which I really miss today.
