I suspect it's going to be a bit if a dilemma, as some politicians will possibly want Trump there as he represents one of our a major allies and trade is a big issue following Brexit. It's also an American who is being married in to the Royal Family so there will need to be American Representation and the US Ambassador and numerous US Representatives will be there including Ex-Presidents.
However on the other side of the coin, Trump is unpopular and may sour the day causing protests, and given his previous comments regarding Princess Diana and the Duchess of Cambridge it could be awkward, and then you have the personal views of Harry and Meghan whose wedding it actually is.
So it's a tough call.

Yet, I understand some of the concerns voiced herein. After all, given his personality, Mr. Trump (goes the old saying), "Wants to be the bride at every wedding, and the corpse at every funeral".
because he would have a chance to daydream about being king. he'd do that all through the ceremony and by the end he would have convinced himself that he IS king and would make his usual delirious off the wall comments and embarrass our nation yet again.

I would hope the world leaders they invite will be those they admire and have some connection to.
I cannot imagine there would be a blanket invitation to everyone who heads up a country. Mugabe would be out now, but think of all those who would still fit under this heading.

It may have escaped your notice, but it seems to be very important to Trump that he appear to be universally adored. Being left off the guest list would be yet another glaring example of the fact that he is not.
I really don't care who goes and who doesn't and I don't think most Americans care either.

I've been interested in the UK since I was a child. It does have a very interesting history and considering English countrymen helped to found this country, I don't think its quite a leap to understand why many Americans are interested in English history, culture and the monarchy.
Just because you don't like something, doesn't mean those of us who do are sheep. Get over yourself. Please.
