This thread very vividly points out the mentality and maturity level of not only Donald Trump, but the people who support him. To them, it is more important that he plays some schoolyard prank on other people, than for him to actually act like an intelligent, responsible, respectable leader of the nation.
Reminds me of being back in college and some of the frat boy games and things that they thought were funny. Trouble is, this isn't college, and everything Trump does affects all of us and the rest of the world. Being the buffoon he is, he thinks this gig is another reality show, and his cult laps it up.

There was indeed no need for Schumer and Pelosi to attend, Trump wasn't going to change the tax-cuts that give Trump an extra billion dollars in his pocket because Schumer and Pelosi asked him too.
The bottom line is that the Trump tax-cuts are a gift to the wealthiest people in the country and raise taxes on the middle class and poor, all while also increasing the debt. Isn't that a great idea?: Raise taxes on the middle class and borrow money to give to rich people.

You define "progress" as raising taxes on the middle class to give tax cuts to the rich? Wasn't this the guy that promised the middle class that he was the guy that was going to be their defender? He's completely double-crossed those voters.

POTUS during the televised part of his meeting was all over the place. He was unable to do more then one sentence at a time and each sentence was about something not related.
The 2 clowns sitting as far away from the POTUS as they could get looked and sounded like little children.
So the big story was about the NK missile shot. Aside from "we will handle it" he had to let Mattis talk about that.
It is really amazing how many people think it's ok to be our president and act like a 10 year old. What's worse is they love him for it.
Maybe because they identify with him. I'm sure you've known people like that, they grow up and get a job but they are still just cognitively impaired 5th grade bullies.
Equally amazing is how those who oppose Trump act like three year olds throwing a tantrum in the isle at Walmart and claim that is to be the expected normal behavior of adults.
