Last night potus and flotus lit the National Christmas tree....and hardly anyone showed up. I lived in DC-Metro for 30+ years and the annual lighting of the National Tree was always a nightmare for us commuters as the crowds would start to form as work let out. Always a big deal.
It's not the same angle -- it is much closer. Had someone else on Facebook post two pictures -- one from this week's and one from previous year's and it had the same empty seat.
It was a lovely event if you like that sort of thing and Trump was excited he got to say Merry Christmas......LOL.

Trump has made a push to make it Ok once again to wish people a Merry Christmas but I guess that there are many out there that still consider the phrase "Merry Christmas" racist hate speech and trigger words.
Sad. Oh well . Happy Holidays everyone !

Esp since the Senate passed his tax bill last night which will screw millions of Americans.
