Too soon to know anything one way or another, but it does sound like a plea deal. It may not turn out badly for Trump personally, but it certainly isn't good for him.
We know it's a plea agreement. The open question is whether he's turned state's evidence and this development would certainly suggest so. Of the things Flynn could have potentially been charged for, this was likely the least serious, and it's unlikely he gets that type of deal without providing substantial assistance to authorities.

Agreed 100%. I just think its unhelpful to speculate one way or another as to whether this will affect Trump personally. There are only a handful of people who know what Flynn copped to, and I am not one of them.
