Someone who did federal criminal defense work for many years said ABC's Brian Ross (who received the FBI leak -- better take a shower, Brian) doesn't know how federal criminal prosecutions work. If the feds expect a defendant to testify against another, they will only allow him to plea AFTER he testifies, not BEFORE. They hold the plea agreement over his head to assure that he testifies and testifies the way they want him to.
Sorry, Looneys. The media keeps lying and you keep clicking. Start watching Fox News so you know what is really going on.
Guess what. Double Jeopardy only works if you've been convicted. So he pleads guilty to a throw away crime, well they can't charge him with that again, but ALL the other stuff, that amounts to about 60 years worth of prison have never been charged or closed. They just bring the charges that aren't part of the plea agreement and hit him with that hammer.
Actually I think that's entirely the point. This is nowhere near all "you" got. The good stuff isn't out yet.
This low level stuff is to put on a show and you guys are falling for it. Mueller and the Democrats are trying to save their reputations so something has to come out of this even if it's garden variety stuff.
JUST IN: @BrianRoss on @ABC News Special Report: Michael Flynn promised "full cooperation to the Mueller team" and is prepared to testify that as a candidate, Donald Trump "directed him to make contact with the Russians." http://abcn.ws/2AhU3Iq
Quote:
A source close to President Donald Trump said the developments regarding Flynn are "very, very, very bad."
The concern in the White House is that Flynn will offer up information that could be harmful to the president.

Will you promise to share whatever it is that you're on?
Even Breitbart seems to be having a hard time spinning this. It almost sounds like they're trying to spin it as all Ty Cobb's fault.
‘Over By Thanksgiving’: White House Lawyer Ty Cobb Was Disastrously Wrong
Ty Cobb, the Beltway lawyer brought to the White House to handle the Russia investigation, predicted in August that Special Counsel Robert Mueller would be done with his work by Thanksgiving: “I’d be embarrassed if this is still haunting the White House by Thanksgiving and worse if it’s still haunting him by year end.”
But on the Friday after Thanksgiving, Mueller brought down former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn. And he’s not done.
Flynn’s decision to cooperate with Mueller means that the White House now faces immediate legal danger — not so much from the substance of the allegations, but from the kind of “process crimes” to which Flynn pleaded guilty.
At the very least, Ty Cobb and his colleagues are going to be on the defensive for many months — certainly through most of 2018, if not longer. Most of it will have nothing to do with Russia. But it is not going to disappear.
On Friday, reacting to the news of Flynn’s guilty plea and agreement to cooperate with Mueller, Cobb released a bizarre statement in which he called Flynn “a former Obama administration official” — as if Flynn had not also been Trump’s top national security adviser, and his warmup speaker at nearly every campaign rally in the fall of 2016.
Cobb added: “The conclusion of this phase of the Special Counsel’s work demonstrates again that the Special Counsel is moving with all deliberate speed and clears the way for a prompt and reasonable conclusion.”
That is beyond wishful thinking. It is borderline delusion.
Personally, I think it should be a requirement that incoming administrations contact all foreign nations to begin cordial discussions. Obviously not to change policy during the remainder of the current president’s term (which has not been alleged in this case).
The White House has cancelled a scheduled opportunity for reporters to question President Donald Trump about former national security adviser Michael Flynn's guilty plea.
The public White House schedule had said that reporters would be allowed to document part of Trump's meeting with Libyan Prime Minister Fayez al-Sarraj.
During these media events, called "pool sprays," reporters usually pepper the president with questions. Trump often answers, using opportunity to deliver his message directly to voters.
Reporters had been lined up outside the Oval Office, waiting to enter the room, when White House staffers marched them back into the press room.
White House spokeswoman Lindsay Walters then told them the media event would not happen.

Hide all of Rachel Madcow's pills. I fear she might do something drastic when she finds out.
