You need to qualify the political bent of the "legal experts" you've heard and where they were opining...

We don't know what Flynn will provide, but as many legal experts have stated, it's unlikely that Flynn will be providing any meaningful testimony, not with his agreement being to plead guilty to lying.
There is that age old question, "were you lying then or now?"

Well, every defense lawyer would tell you that if their client is to ever have testimony against them, they would want it to be from a convicted lair.

Anything Flynn says will be thoroughly crosschecked and verified. All he is doing is pointing to the graves. It's Mueller's job to find out what is buried there. Flynn himself may never be called to testify in open court. If he is caught lying, Bobby will get out his letter opener and start unsealing indictments, and both Flynn the Snitch and Flynn the Lesser will go down hard for decades.

I think I'd trust pretty much anything he has to say at this point.

that's speculation, not a "leak". a "leak" would be if someone released either specifics or a general idea of what flynn's testimony/cooperation is to be. given the situation, it's not an unreasonable speculation that flynn's testimony will be substantive.

two posters cited unnamed "legal experts" back to back but..... you were only interested in the "legal bent" of one.

LOL!!

Ya, put a convicted liar on the witness stand in a trial, and see what happens! That would be suicide in litigation, if the judge even allows it.

How about the highly respected Allen Dershowitz, a left leaning lawyer? Dershowitz is one of the lawyers that are saying Flynn is unlikely to be a meaningful witness for Mueller.

You would have to be living in a left wing echo chamber not to know that legal experts have been saying this for a month now.
