Is anyone really surprised by this tactic? If you know you're being investigated and you can feel the noose tightening, what better way to try get out of it than by attempting to discredit the agency doing the investigation? Of course, it's all nonsense, but I'm sure his base won't care about that.
he is truly deplorable. he just says things that try to cover his butt whether they are true or not.
just like a poster here who calls the New York Times a 'Mexican owned blog'. it isn't, of course, but it just doesn't seem to matter.
so many people working at the FBI were stunned when Comey was fired; according to them the bureau was running very well and morale was great. if the FBI is in 'tatters' now it's due to tRump's lying, cheating, and total disrespect for them or anyone else who dares to disagree with him.
remember when he and cons LOVED Comey when he talked about Clinton, then did a 180 when he wouldn't pledge loyalty to tRump? now they hate him.
it seems INTEGRITY is not a word cons understand. certainly not the liar in chief.
for all their talk of the Constitution, they really don't understand what's in it and how it applies to the running of our country. they are essentially ignorant of the founding principles contained within it.
