In all fairness: I would much rather have Mexicans working in Mexico making products for sale here vs. the illegals here in the USA competing with Americans directly.

All Chrysler PT Cruisers sold here are made in Mexico along with many other Detroit Three cars and trucks.

"Where" products are made are not immigration issue as it is "other controversies". Thread has been moved to the appropriate forum.

Maybe if Mexico had a more robust manufacturing industry, their economy would improve to the point that Mexicans thought that their best chance was to be in the US illegally. The best way to solve the illegal immigration problem is to eliminate the reason for them to come here in the first place.

To the best of my knowledge Hershey has moved to Mexico. Cheap labor. I have eaten my last Hershey products.

It seems the upstart management resenting the higher seniority, higher earning employees became focused on the bottom line so they layed them off and moved. Now management top levels will be compensated 44% higher than the average production worher instead of a mere 18.5%. I guess they taught them that at Princeton. I doubt if the Hershey founders would agree.

IMHO those corps. that do this should not be allowed to sell their products in America the best consumer market in the world. Protectionist sure. Against these extreamists our Gov't. WILL protect or we will go blind. There is little choice.

this is free market woo hoooo!!!

this happens when the economy is just ruled by corporations because a little Government intervention would be labelled as "socialism"

Better made in Mexico than China. Want a little lead mixed with melamine or antifreeze in those jelly beans ?
