There may not be a tax cut bill. If Rubio votes no and McCain misses the vote, it's over.

How about legalizing weed to pay for the tax cuts? (That idea would give Jeff Sessions a heart attack)

Easier said than done. Everyone is saying cut spending on other people but not on me. Each Congressperson is already circling wagons on their pet items

Yup -- I'm with you.

It has to be significant and hurt us all - -not just one group -- not just one level of income -- all of us have to feel the pinch if we want to cut the deficit.

But if we just cut everyone's spending.

Problem is you can't have a Mission to Mars and cut expenses to those in need. That's just hypocritical.

Cut the Mission to Mars AND other programs.

Sorry, but you don’t understand the most basic of economics. ONLY SPENDING creates debt.

However, I'm not sure if there's even a possible mechanism that can be implemented that rewards savers. Because there are people who are good at saving and can accumulate a pile of cash over the years versus inherited wealth. But I would reward the savers and not the ones who were born into wealth.
You’re not very familiar with our tax code.

People making lots of money are paying more more taxes than those making much less money.

If you're reducing taxes, that's considered spending then no? You're spending it on people instead of the government.

Dude this is just a simple math equation. If you want to zero out the deficit, you either have to increase taxes, cut spending, or both.

There's no decrease taxes in this equation.
