I think the left is only worried about hate crimes when they are white on black. Black on white hate crimes are given the go-ahead, thus the slap on the wrist here. I wonder if the judge gave her a little wink and pat on the back atta-girl as he "threw the book and her"?
It was a black judge, but he did ban the torturer from using facebook for 4 years, no live streaming hate crimes and torture for 4 years
The media has done a fantastic job of covering this verdict, if it werent for a twitter feed from a friend in Chicago I would never have heard of the verdict. The media has become worthless for finding out anything, its all celebrities in hollywood and whatever anti trump story they can find

Well, the couple in Georgia did a lot more than what you say they did, but obviously these people in Chicago should be spending a long time in prison.
And not a word form the mainstream media about this story .

"A woman who streamed herself and three friends torturing a mentally handicapped man has pleaded guilty to a hate crime and has been sentenced to four years probation.
Nineteen-year-old Brittany Covington of Chicago had been held without bail since she was arrested in January in connection with the video.
On New Year's Day, Covington went live on Facebook while her sister, Tanishia and two friends, Tesfaye Cooper and Jordan Hill, kicked a white mentally handicapped man and cut his clothing. The three also berated the man, using racial insults and invoking the name of then President-elect Donald Trump."
Fake News, the woman didn't do much of the physical torturing she was the one who did the videotaping the other guys actually did the the torturing and will get heavier sentences. The woman did get of light charge but you can't charge her for something she didn't do but was clearly and disgustingly complacent to.
The couple first of all didn't get 20 years and 15 years in Prison (they were sentenced to that but will get less), they got 13 years and 6 years respectively to serve, (look it up), and they pointed a LOADED SHOTGUN AT CHILDREN.
This happens in the "hood" all the time. Judges give people caught carjacking or felons caught with a gun signature bond and then these people go out and commit more crimes, and the left screams for more "gun laws" to restrict rights for people like me with no criminal record while they let the criminals back out on the streets. Pure insanity. Loonie lefties.
The handicapped teen only escaped when the girl and her sister went after the neighbor who threatened to call the police, kicking in her door and robbing her. Who knows if they would have ended up killing the handicapped kid if the neighbor hadn’t stepped in.

Oh great she only videotaped the torture, at least she cant videotape any more racist torturing for 4 years. This judge made sure of that, she cant use social media for 4 years. real justice lol
They just gave 15 years to some white bigot who put bacon in a mosque but you can take part in a racist hate crime and torture a white and videotape it on facebook and get probation!
