This bill helps the 1% and corporations more than it does the middle class. Millions will lose their health insurance which means the rest of us have to pick up the cost. Trump thinks that by giving huge tax breaks to corporations will mean they will stay in the US. And he thinks by giving them these tax breaks they will hire more employees. Honestly, only a fool would believe this nonsense. The CEO's and stockholders are laughing all the way to the bank because it will just line their pockets even more. They will still manufacture overseas because labor is cheap with no benefits. And this is the problem. How about penalizing US companies who go to other countries to produce their products...not reward them.
Cry some more about it, this bill benefits the middle class. Democrats vote against the middle class by opposing this. They don't want my family to save 3 thousand a year.
Just now from the WSJ:
The Republican tax plan would lead to tax cuts for all income groups in 2019, with the lower-middle-class households receiving the largest tax reductions on a percentage basis but upper-income households receiving the most money.
It’s called the Limbaugh-Hannity Principle of tax accounting.
- Pick a random number that sounds superficially plausible
- Ignore lost exemptions, lost deductions, and sunset provisions
- Add a zero for emphasis
- When pressed, insist that you crunched the numbers yourself or had your trusted accountant do it, which is more reliable than librul fearmongering (bonus points for mentioning the “fake news media” or accusing Democrats of hating the middle class)

Well if you are a millionaire you evidently don’t need to work harder you can just hire lobbyists and add a provision. This change was not in either the senate or house bill, it just appeared. Truly a Christmas miracle, and suddenly Corkers concerns regarding the deficit just disappeared.
Stop worrying about the 1%, some how they will survive in spite of the overwhelming odds.
Your response was silly. Your illusion about who is a millionaire is outdated.
I'll give you an assignment: give us a count of how many Americans have a million-dollar net worth.
Belittling success isn't becoming and is a trait of the lazy.

America loves corporations. They provide the jobs and contribute to advances in technologies that better our lives.
Why does the Left hate success?
I may save a couple of percentage points, but my tax cut has the sunset provision, which the Republicans argue will be continued by a future Congress. Oddly, the corporate tax cut does not have a sunset provision.
Say, are the hedge fund managers taking it in the shorts as frequently promised by Candidate Trump?

But keep it up!
So you come to the conclusion that middle class people that are getting rather small share of this tax bill just need to work harder and they can enjoy in the spoils. Who is belittling success, my comments were relative to the influence bought by wealthy people. Don't be so naïve to believe that wealthy people and their lobbyists didn't have almost complete control over this outcome.
Remember Trumps claim that he was going to do away with the carries interest, guess what disappeared from this bill. Hedge fund managers are one of the largest political donors, I guess you could call their influence hard work.
And why don't you tell the truth of WHY individuals see a tax increase in 2027?
In case you're ignorant of the facts (as opposed to just lying about them), it takes 60 votes in the senate to make the tax cuts permanent; otherwise they expire in 10 years. Want to make them permanent? Contact your Democratic senators and ask them, just once, to do something for the middle class and vote for this bill. There is still time to do the right thing and quit harming the country just to spite Trump. Otherwise-in ten years, the Dems will be responsible for one of the largest middle class tax increases in history.
