Or compared to Ronald Reagan. The GHWB glow wore off fast once people saw him in action and realized he was no RR. Even kicking Iraq out of Kuwait didn't help him.

Yes and it only cost us 10 trillion in debt to do it.
The question begs, did Obama's policies help our economy or did it recover as many predicted it would, on it's own?

Actually Reagan raised taxes 3 times after the 1981 tax cuts, one of the largest in history. I give both him and HW Bush credit for addressing a problem and making changes, I don't think we will see any admission of a mistake from the present administration.

Obama really wanted to raise taxes but could not do so in 2010 or 2012 with that economy. Present day we should be increasing taxes not raising them.

I would rather we cut spending before we raise taxes. I think this country has more of a spending problem than a revenue problem.
