You took the risk by investing in the company. You deserve the rewards in the form of dividends.

I don't know about that. I never give anyone anything.

If someone gives me something I accept it and just move on. If they are expecting something in return they are in for a rude awakening.

For natural disaster relief?

For elderly when their life long savings runs out?

For addicts from over prescribed drugs?

Seems like people are more in self preservation mode rather than enjoying life.

Totally, as long as it does not involve anything illegal or immoral.

If someone was to offer me a million bucks, I'm taking it......the less questions asked, the better.

Of course it is. Is this a trick question? Now, if that money is being taken from said stranger against their wishes, that's an entirely different question - but probably much closer to what you're really getting at.

Yet, somehow, the OP can't simply say that. Even worse, they probably think they're being terribly clever by asking it the way they did.

If so, it is morally acceptable because it is legal in our country.
So slavery was morally acceptable?

What is legal is not always moral.

It is immoral to take money from one person and give it to another person.

It is moral to accept money from somebody who voluntarily gives it to you.

Legal and moral are unrelated qualifications.
