I recall watching a documentary that saidth we should expect to see crazy weather situations such as fires, ice storms, heavy snow storms, droughts, floods, records on both ends of the sprectrum (highs and lows). They said that that climate change would cause instability in the beginning and this included cold weather extremes as well as other extremes.

if people had the slightest understanding of the consequences of rising global temperatures they would know that frigid temps in some parts of the country would be one of the results.
but, they won't avail themselves of current knowledge; they prefer to remain ignorant of facts and rely on what tRump tells them.
tRump, who proudly states that he stands for nothing.
I was right to blame AGW. A tire on my pickup went flat, must be due to AGW.
It is all cyclical. I think us humans have an effect on the climate and weather but I don't believe it is nearly as extreme as some of the alarmists say.
Actually that reflects my opinion on it as well.
The real objection I have is the solution offered by the liberal elite globalist.
IDK but I suspect most people believe something close to that. Its easier to deny it than to argue for or against the solution. The weakest part of the whole issue is the solution which can't be measured for effect. It would be a sure way to make China the dominate world power.
That's funny my degree was in medical science. I spent so much time in hospitals it wasn't that much of a challenge. Anything I needed help with there was always a Dr. around to ask.
Temperatures are generally higher than they have been in the past. But cold snaps like this one are why the left was forced to change the issue from 'global warming' to 'climate change'.
