Mostly because our government funds research. Imagine how much better we’d be if our government guaranteed everyone care.

No doubt we have some of the best medical innovation out there. As said above, much of that is due to government funding of research but profits of medical companies don't hurt. However, one thing you need to look at is what are the outcomes of the population with regard to "everyday" health. Are we #1? I already know the answer to that. Do you?

Economy of scale. Doesn't make you special. The EU and Asia are expected to take first from the US sometime in next decade.

First in survival for what? We're not for cancer. We're not for cardiovascular. We're not even a top ranked healthcare system in general.

You could start by explaining what people mean by "superior", and then you can provide links to the claims you made yourself. What do you mean #1 in research? Number of research papers? It should not surprise anyone a nation of 300 million residents would produce more research papers than a nation of 5 million.

I'll be happy to give rides to the airports to those leaving the US to receive better care in another country.

Maybe you misunderstand; we want to better care HERE. You know, I really try not to label conservatives as bad human beings, but you guys make it difficult.
