You are confusing scientific research with medical care. They are not the same. What good is all of our innovation when huge swaths of the population have no access to or cannot afford the treatments that result from them? We rank well behind every other developed nation in the world in actual medical care.

I misunderstand nothing. Basing the level of care on WaPo articles and green card holding UN miscreants opinions is indicative of your lack of intelligence.

But can you afford to access those innovations and cures? Durrrr... You did not think much about that.

By the way, here are some stats for you:

https://www.americashealthrankings.o...-other-nations

Our life expectancy is declining for the second straight year.

Out of 35 OECD countries, we rank 26th in life expectancy.

We have one of the worst maternal death rate in the developed world - and one of the few that is rising.

For all these dubious outcomes, we spend the most per capita out of all OECD countries.

If we're the richest, most advanced nation on Earth, then why do we pay the most for notably ****ty health outcomes?

The US medical system is about the same as Mexico's - great for people at the top, not so great for the rest.

I know most people probably won't read this as it's from the NYT; however, it's a great article comparing 11 different health care systems. It pits similar ones against each other and then lets you pick which one you think is superior. It then comes down to a final winner at the end.

The U.S. system didn't fare the worst, but I do like that this article describes the pros and cons of each one in a way that I have never seen before, as well as also discusses the cost benefit ratio to what it delivers.

The U.S. system was definitely superior to the others for innovation and outcomes of serious diseases, which most people want. However, as I said earlier, it falls short with access to care and affordability to the general population.

So what is should be our national health care priority?

Healthy children or keeping rich old bastards alive with costly medical procedures?

GoFundYourself is our new national healthcare policy.

How far we've fallen.
