I wish I could be a cool, rugged individualist like you. I bet you’ll fare well in a post-apocalyptic world. Until then, we grown-ups will continue to talk about the real world, where we have governments
Everyone wants to be that Denzel Washington character from the Book of Eli. 😂
It's kind of irrelevant. Governments everywhere do whatever they can to control the populace. Best thing to do is limit interaction with government as much as possible and make judicious use of freedom of association.
What I call the "international nation" of diaspora Jews almost completely controls the world, so I would have to tip my hat to them.
They have "states within the state" in the United States, Great Britain, and other powerful Western nations, and they completely control those nations through their domination of banking, finance, media, book publishing, foundations, the arts, entertainment, etc.
They also have their escape hatch -- Israel -- which is there for them to flee to in case the going gets rough for them in other countries.
So "the two nations of Israel" -- the international nation, and Israel itself, are the ones to be members of if you want to be the top dog in this world.
Because all the other nations of the world are mere puppets for the two Israels, I don't see any point other than personal preference and the usual criteria -- relatively minor in the larger context -- in recommending one or a group of several over the others.
I do like Western Europe and the Anglo-Saxon nations (New Zealand, Australia, etc.), but that's just a personal preference.
Wherever the family is. And that's the good ol' United States.
Just like any other country, the U.S., may have it's growing pains but it's the best country in the world. The opportunities of growth and freedom of speech are pretty much equal for everyone in a wide spectrum.
You work hard, you use your skills and talents, and most likely you will be rewarded in pursuit of your dreams.
I think the U.S. is the best nation overall for living in. We have the most resilient economy in the world, probably.
However, pretty much any first world nation is going to be decent as well.
And the world would agree with you. Out of all the countries in the world by for the most preferred country that people want to immigrate to is the US. with the UK being a distant second.
