That's what hiking the min wage is expected to do. It raises wages. The goal was 3.5 - 4% increase, but apparently they fell well short of it.

In the meanwhile, the stock market is down 500 points on top of earlier losses. Worst week in 2 years

Yeah but the top Dems are saying it is peanuts, a pittance, CRUMBS!
Being self employed I haven't seen an actual paycheck in years but if I was to receive even $20 a week more in my check when I was working a regular job I would have been happy.

$20 bucks a week is $80 per month and $960 per year. it adds up.

The problem with these complaining Dems is that they are so our of touch with the average American that does live on a budget. $20 per week can mean some extra gas in the tank to take your family for a drive or buy a treat for your loved one or in some cases it can be saved up to buy your kid a nice Christmas present.

DC is so out of touch. They spend money like a bunch of drunken fools with a stolen credit card.

Imagine if Trump's policies actually worked for America despite what the Dems tell us?

Trump keeps winning.

Thankfully Obama and the Anti-American Democrat's war on the middle class is finally over. The poverty pimps are gone and/or out of power.

Excellent news.

Let’s be vigilant and keep an eye on this. Wages still need a major increase. This isn’t sufficient by any means.
