The Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.'s niece ripped accusations that President Trump is a "racist" for speaking in an off-color manner about third world countries.
She said that Trump has done excellent work in highlighting the important accomplishments of her uncle, including officially declaring his Georgia birthplace a national historic park.
"Racism is just a word that is being bandied about and thrown... at the president unjustly," she said. "President Trump is not a racist."
King said that, in his reported remarks, Trump was not disparaging Africans or Haitians but instead calling attention to the fact many of their governments are inadequate and corrupt.
"Some of their own leaders have taken advantage of them," she said.
She also criticized American Urban Radio Networks correspondent April Ryan, who repeatedly shouted "are you a racist" at the president during the King Birthplace park signing ceremony.
Based upon the things I have heard, directly from his mouth, he is pretty racist. Or maybe just hateful. /shrug
His competitiveness and no-sugar-coating, blunt way of speaking can often come across as racist, but really he is just obsessed with high standards.
Take the whole "we should accept more people from Norway" comment. Democrats are mindlessly spinning it as racism, but that is a simpleton's assessment of his statement. What Trump really said was that we should reward immigrants who are high achievers and can contribute to our society, and the uncomfortable reality is that there are more of these types of people in places like western/Northern Europe than say, El Salvador. That's just simple fact, not racism. Racism, by definition, involves personal preferences based on aspects of a person he/she cannot change, and nothing that Trump has said so far would suggest that he is a genuine racist.
Blacks who think that Trump is a racist has a very poor image of themselves as a person of color. If this is the first thing a black person thinks of they are trained to do so. If a black person is not liked by another black person they don't think this unless they interject the color of their skin. But if a white person says something that is negative at all toward any facet of blacks , they think it is racist.
They have been trained to be thin black skinned to think that it is a skin color thing. They should get a better image of themselves being black. Black people are so much more than the color of their skin but the democrats beat them into submission making them think they are less because of their skin color. This is the worst kind of racism . The worst. Martin Luther King realized this and his message is still true. It is not the color on ones skin, it is the character of a person.
I can't understand disliking someone because of the color of their skin. The spirit, the character, the whole being of that person is what they truly are.
None of his comments are racist. The Left plays it up as racist.
Calling illegals rapists, drug smugglers and criminals is not racist. He never mentioned any race. Same with the “sh thole” comments (assuming its even true) also did not refer to any race. The Left and their liberal media pals turns it into race because that’s what they love to do.
The left cut Trumps whole sentence.. they left out,this is what the border patrol said was coming over=rapists, drug smugglers and criminals. Trump just told us what the border patrol told Trump what their problems were and the kind of people they were catching and it was that bad.

People act like there is just all this made up stuff about Trump being a racist, yet there are plently of videos of him saying things that are. It boggles the mind. Especially when to counter the “He is racist” talk they say things like “ he hired Omarosa to work in the White House “. Can’t make that crap up.
