thanks but i thought you must have something NEW for the extraordinary claims being made here.
time and again you guys pretend this doc proves that US security forces were purposely conducting widespread spying on US citizens, when in fact mostly this is about sloppy work and worse reporting of the errors made. there appears to be no proof that Obama or anyone else was purposely spying for political gain either side any party...
but that is how you guys sell it. you guys love to pretend this is deep state plot, where as it would seem to be more about people not doing their jobs very well...

The report now being released to the House will show that the FISA abuse was against Trump, and his team, and was done for political reasons, hence why every democrats voted against the report being released.
Manafort had a FISA warrant. Manafort is not a terrorist.
Money laundering/tax fraud is not FISA..that's simple FBI stuff going to a regular judge.
Manafort was actively engaged in helping Russia in the Ukraine. Many argue that actions in the Ukraine are more terroristic then anything else. However...It does NOT require he be a terrorist. He can just be knowingly engaging in clandestine intelligence activities. Something eminently reasonable given his actions. And the FISA stuff started in 2014....WAY before Trump.
And then 90 days in....FISA requires that you prove that you got intelligence from the FISA application. IE they had to have proved to a court that they got actual evidence from having a FISA on Manafort. They appear to have renewed it several times....then it lapsed. They re-opened it again in 2016, and got it renewed as well.
And while Manafort may have been charged with a few crimes, we don't know what he will be charged with in the end. So buckle up! (It would suck to be Manafort right now)

But FISA was supposed to ONLY be used for suspected terrorists..foreign spies here in the US.

You need to understand that the FISA system can be abused even if there is FISA court authorization.
For instance, they can look at any communications Manafort may have had with Russians, but you can't look at Manafort's routine communications of the Trump campaign, which is what Nunes said was happening.
The House Intel Committee voted today to release a FISA abuse report to the entire House of Representatives.
All the democrats on the committee voted against the release of the report.
Why would the democrats vote against releasing a report that provides evidence of wide spread abuse of the FISA system?
Well because all of the abuse of the FISA system was by the Obama administration.

(That is a reference to the secret court set up by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.) The motion passed the committee on a party-line vote.
The problem is that it was allowed to continue and grow.
We, the people, found out that the secret government (FISA system) had expanded and was being abused.

So, you can't even be bothered to read the evidence, I see.
This isn't a situation were you can read a couple of sentences in a report, you need to read the entire report to understand the scope of what was going on.

Not all Trumps foreign communications. ALL communications.
Then we find out 30,000 4th amendment violations in 2016 of non-authorized access to citizens privacy.
