If California doesn’t follow federal laws, they shouldn’t get federal dollars.

Yes, not the least of which is "Harboring":

Harboring -- Subsection 1324(a)(1)(A)(iii) makes it an offense for any person who -- knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that an alien has come to, entered, or remains in the United States in violation of law, conceals harbors, or shields from detection, or attempts to conceal, harbor, or shield from detection, such alien in any place, including any building or any means of transportation.

Encouraging/Inducing -- Subsection 1324(a)(1)(A)(iv) makes it an offense for any person who -- encourages or induces an alien to come to, enter, or reside in the United States, knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that such coming to, entry, or residence is or will be in violation of law.

Conspiracy/Aiding or Abetting -- Subsection 1324(a)(1)(A)(v) expressly makes it an offense to engage in a conspiracy to commit or aid or abet the commission of the foregoing offenses.

...With regard to violations of 8 U.S.C. § 1324(a)(1)(ii)-(iv) and (v)(ii), domestic transportation, harboring, encouraging/inducing, or aiding/abetting, the basic statutory maximum term of imprisonment is 5 years, unless the offense was committed for commercial advantage or private financial gain, in which case the maximum term of imprisonment is 10 years.

California forming their own country for illegals would solve the problem- for them and the rest of America. Let's then build a wall around California.

This can't continue, people.

Either California follows federal law, or they can find their politicians locked up.

OR - we can take the next step and let them form their own country.

This can't continue as it is now. Enough is enough.
What about state's rights? Do those only apply when you are trying to keep minorities in their place or keep gay people from getting married?

States don't have the right to force employers to violate Federal Law. If they did, not one single US corporation would pay any Federal taxes.

Critical thinking skills people... Learn them. Use them.

States do not have the right to harbour fugitives.

This is really a slap in the face to those who have had loved ones die at the hands of illegals who keep being deported and coming back.

Thank God I don't live there. It's a beautiful state being ruined between the fires and the crap on the streets.

The new state laws are complicated, and there has been warning that ignorance of the laws is no excuse for employers. Way to support your businesses, scare and threaten them, because supporting illegals is more important.

State forcing private employers not to cooperate with feds, regardless of the consequences to the employer, a bold step.
