"Reporter: "Did you know about the $130,000 payment to Stormy Daniels?" Trump: "No." Reporter: "Why did Michael Cohen make it?" Trump: "You have to ask Michael Cohen. Michael Cohen is my attorney you'll have to ask him." Reporter: "Do you know where he got the money to make that payment?" Trump: "No, I don't know." "
So, tell us... what speculation or tip did it take to ask the questions?
the question i'm curious about happened after this exchange.

And, what are you trying to imply about the reporter?
nothing. as i stated before, the reporter was either going off a tip ( of trump setting up a separate account for cohen to pull from ) or just speculation.

No tip is needed, EVERYONE has been speculating on this issue. Trump got caught off guard, and messed up. You know, the guy with genius IQ that can't control his thumbs.

[/b]What? What does it matter who asked the question? And, what does it matter who the reporter's sources are, or the reporter's history? Are you trying to impunge the reporter's character for asking the question? Why?
This story has had legs for weeks now, and the only people who don't know that there is the issue of what trump knew and when he knew it, along with why would cohen pay the woman, are probably living on some other planet. It wouldn't matter if you or I were the one to ask that question, and it wouldn't matter who our sources were, because everyone has heard the story and wants the answers.
I take your point--the credentials of the reporter are not really the point of the exchange--
unless she was one that Trump likes (because he does have favorites), and that might be why he responded...
Can I just point out--in case no one really paid much attention to it--
A FEMALE reporter is the one who asked a question that has been thrown at Trump on several occasions and totally ignored it
Yesterday he walks back to the pool reporters and catches the eye of a FEMALE reporter and takes her question
I just think that is par for the course for Trump...preening before a female (he thought he did well in West Virginia even though he was talking about Mexican rapists at a tax forum)...
She doesn't ask about Mueller---she doesn't ask about Pruitt--she doesn't ask about Chinese tariffs
She asks about Stormy Daniels and Trump answers
Folks that is like winning the Trifecta...
PLUS she asked a followup and he answered that...
And there was a 3rd question I believe he responded to before he went away
Maybe another person asked about the money "pot"
Kind of sounds like honey pot
Maybe he just misheard...but that scared him off I guess...
Evangelical leaders planning sit down with Trump over Stormy Daniels
Several evangelical Christian leaders are planning a sit-down with President Trump in June over allegations that his lawyer paid adult-film star Stormy Daniels $130,000 in 2016 for her silence about an alleged affair with Trump more than a decade ago.
"We're very concerned about the allegations," the leader of one ministry told NPR.
"There's things that are like fingernails on the chalkboard to people of faith. That's not who we are; that's not a 'fruit of the Spirit'; that's not leading with humility," said another person familiar with the talks."
Good grief. "People of faith" had no problem voting for this man who wouldn't know what humility was if you spelled it out for him. "People of faith" had no problem excusing his cheating on all three of his wives. "People of faith" had no problem defending him when he bragged about sexually assaulting women.
What's changed all of a sudden? Maybe some of their flock are growing a conscience, and that has these phony "men of God' worried?
Maybe they just discovered what "grab them by the ******," actually means, and that it was not about cats or locker rooms, but a real physical thing that Trump did to females.
Even if they did know what he meant, just who did they think was being grabbed? Choir girls?
OMG--they were shocked to find out it was Playmates, porn stars and loose women--who'd a thunk?
Guess all the thoughts and prayers in the world will not change Trump's disgusting behavior. Or maybe they want him to pull a Jimmy Swaggart and cry on camera that 'he has sinned.'
But if he has had a big enough payoff from Trump, maybe not. How much is a law license worth these days?
He is a crappy lawyer so probably not much!
