Did Russia buying ads on Facebook influence your vote in the 2016 Presidential election?

Were you an independent who was going to vote for Hillary but were bamboozled by a meme about Benghazi or her destruction of thousands of emails?

Did Vladimir Putin trick you into voting for Trump with a video of cute puppies wearing little MAGA hats?

If you're really that mentally weak that your opinion was so easily manipulated.......

Should you really be voting at all?

Social media has actually replaced MSM in a lot of cases because American media is slanted from the truth to serve demographics on the right and the left. People tend to believe what their friends tell them more than they do Fox or MSNBC.

If social media wasn't such a force, none of the candidates would have bothered trying to work iit to get their messages out. Did Russia hire bots to try to sway opinion? Yep. Confrmed over and over and over again, by senators, heads of investigative agencies, and the owners of the social media companies themselves.

Most people believe they make their own decisions. The reality is that propaganda works. Its why political campaigns invest in advertising. Because it works, and most people dont realize by how much.

Anyone who goes on the internet expects 99% fiction or fabrication, unless they were born yesterday....
Same as when you turn on the TV.

I didn't even know Russia was buying ads on FB, and I don't look at their ads anyway.

I was aware that Hillary Clinton was the worst candidate to ever run in the history of our country from the beginning, so checked out the other choices. Of course, she ran off the others for the Dems, so.........

I voted for Trump because illegal immigration is destroying our country as is the continued loss of jobs to foreign lands. I knew what he meant by "Make America Great Again", and I wanted that for future generations.

David Muir and co slog it out there.... minions gulp it down. They truly are the opposition media. Hollyweirdo slips feces in thier shows too. It’s all left spectrum. Thats who is slewing the discord and propaganda. It’s hardly “the Russians”

Not in 2016, but it did in 2012 when I was still a religious conservative.
