I take these type of lists with a grain of salt. There are simply too many factors to consider such as reporting criteria and cultural differences.

Interesting per the article, 2 of the 4 countries considered the least safest (Somalia and Syria) just happen to be two that we brought refugees to our country. When you relocate people, they take their "issues" with them, add to that in the Americas, only the US and Canada were among the 10 safest, and the fact that we are overrun by illegal aliens from the rest of the Americas, and you can see it isn't likely we will be getting safer any time soon.

I know, shame on me!

Well, at least in that post I didn't say that I have been safe as a woman in the USA for 63 years, although I know that could change today. I do credit that, for the most part, to my practicing "personal responsibility" when it comes to my interactions with the world, yes, I know "victim blaming".

The truth often has teeth, and bites many in the behind!
