Isn't Charlotte looking for a new airline since US Air left? They've lost a lot of business since the hub dissolved.

Let the NRA replace the loss of Delta for Georgia.
Don't know much about International air hubs do you?

ATL is one of the primary International airports in the US and the biggest in the SE US. It's world #1 for passengers transiting it since 1998 and has been #1 for take offs and landings since 2005 minus 2014 where O'Hare got that title. It's a huge deal.

Charlotte is provincial by comparison does it even really get international flights?

How big of an NRA check did Mr. Cagle receive, anybody know?
That was the first question that came to my mind.

Now, that is entitlement mentality. The NRA has no right to demand privileged treatment from Delta - or from anyone else, for that matter.

We've truly fallen into an alternate universe when conservatives start wanting to punish businesses for making business decisions.

Apart from it being horrendously unprincipled, wouldn't this fall under the definition of a bill of attainder? - one of the very big no-nos. You can't pass legislation that's directed at one person or legal entity.

That's not conservatism. That's fascism.

Fascism: a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition

Any true conservative (and trust me, I know quite a few) would never applaud that.
Most of the most... abrasive people on both sides are actually just loud idiots too dumb to know that they are dumb and too stupid to actually know what they stand for.

I think he would face several legal challenges if he actually tries to use his position to punish a business.

I'm guessing a smarter colleague will take him aside and whisper in his ear.
