If someone is qualified and willing, so be it. Schools need all the assistance possible right now. I'd like to see more law enforcement presence too...outside and inside buildings regardless of costs.
I haven't been to high school in decades. But there were certain teachers we would torment, especially in the shop class or dumb-dumb math classes. Heck we would throw things at the bus driver while he was driving us.
I wonder if teachers carrying guns will affect said tradition.
