On the heels that Obama & wife will get a TV show, now the Church of Scientology is launching it's own TV network in the USA. They are going to spread the "word". Maybe Tom Cruise, John Travolta & Christie Alley show up.
In a country of participation certificates and identity above all else, this certainly fits.
There are hundreds of Christian Broadcasting and dozens of Christian Networks . The 700 Club has been running for more than 50 years. Why not Scientology?
Don’t like it? Don’t watch.
Cute that you chose to link the Scientology Network to the possibility the Obamas may, some day, have a Limited Netflix series.
Do you think it is true that L. Ron Hubbard made a bet in a bar with two other leading Sci-Fi authors that he could dream up a religion devoted to taking people's money totally based on imaginary beings?

After that he probably figured he'd start a bogus university.

If he didn't, the reason behind Scientology comes down to L. Ron Hubbard being nuttier than a fruitcake. I enjoy his fiction, so I'd prefer to believe the story of the wager over believing that he was completely off his rocker.

Yep. And that's why the "church" tells people to stay off the internet and not read anything except "church" sanctioned literature. Can't have the sheep finding out the shepherd is cra cra.
They are already financing a bunch of movies, so I guess this would be expected.
Which movies ?
