And, if you're wondering about his qualifications to do things like negotiate peace in the Middle East, here are the highlights of his career prior to working at the WH:
Born on January 10, 1981, in Livingston, New Jersey, Kushner is the son of real estate developer Charles Kushner. When his father was imprisoned amid financial and political scandal, Kushner took over the family business and also went into publishing with his purchase of The New York Observer.
In 2009, he wed Ivanka Trump, daughter of another real estate mogul, Donald Trump.
After attending the Frisch School, a yeshiva high school in Paramus, New Jersey, the younger Kushner went on to Harvard University and graduated in 2003.
A former administrator at the Frisch School is on the record as saying, "There was no way anybody in the administrative office of the school thought he would on his merits get into Harvard. His GPA did not warrant it, his SAT scores did not warrant it. We thought for sure, there was no way this was going to happen. Then, lo and behold, Jared was accepted. It was a little bit disappointing because there were at the time other kids we thought should really get in on their merits, and they did not.” See: The Story Behind Jared Kuschners Curious Acceptance Into Harvard
In his 2006 book, the Price of Admission, which looked at how the children of rich and elite parents get preferential treatment in Higher Education, author Daniel Golden reported that Charles Kushner, Jared's father, had pledged $2.5 million to Harvard University in 1998, not long before his son Jared was admitted to the prestigious Ivy League school. At the time, Harvard admitted 1 in 9 applicants.
To cause the heads of the left to explode by simply existing.
In that, he's doing a great job. Well worth it.
He should get a bonus just for that !
