Obama is involved in this up to his neck. At the very least you can be sure he knew about all of this dossier business. And I wouldn't be surprised to hear that Valerie Jarrett was also heavily involved.
You mean he kept paying a law firm that he had used in the past. Yes....they do tend to do that.
Theres no evidence that that money was used for the Steele dossier. What a bunch of assumptions it takes for you to get there. Sigh.
We DO know who hired them initially. It was the GOP, later Hillary. Theres no Obama here.
Obama being the head of the Democratic party which help pay for the Dossier. So yes Obama was there. In fact the Obama administration knew of the Russian interference in early 2016 and did nothing because they believed Hillary was a shoe in to get elected.

All the flailing deflection in the world will not stop the truth about Donald Trump. Most of us have know the truth about that con man for decades now. Sorry it's taking so many of the Trump supporters to catch up.

Please provide your evidence about Trump and the Russian collusion and please catch up on the facts not partisanship.
He didn't know what to believe. His job was to go to Russia and find out what was being said on the street, not to pass judgement on it. When he heard things that made him think Trump may be a candidate for blackmail by Putin, he asked Glenn Simpson if he should go to the FBI with the info. Simpson didn't know anybody at the FBI, but Steele did, and he met with them. They agreed to talk with him because what he told them in the initial contact was in line with information they had from other sources.
Steele's intelligence was good enough that they asked him to come back and share the rest of his memos with them, and he did. It's all in the transcript of Simpson's testimony. You should read it.
Steele never went to Russia. Anything he put into that dossier is heresay and gossip... if not outright fabrications.
I have seen plenty of articles indicating the DNC paid the law firm which in turn paid Fusion GPS, seems like that was publicly disclosed.
No they didn't that was recently (a few months ago) discovered.
They did not properly disclose to the FEC what millions of dollars were being used for, I don't know how that is not a criminal violation.

Yes, and don't forget that there are two separate sources that confirm that Obama know everything that was going on from at least December 2016 on.
This new evidence indicates that Obama most likely knew about the plan to set Trump up from the very beginning.

Yes, they used the dosser in the FISA application knowing it was completely unverified. They told the FISA judge that the information was reliable because it came from Steele.
The problem is that the information in the dosser didn't come from Steele, it was secondhand hearsay from Russians. We also know that Sidney Blumenthal, and Cody Shearer were feeding Steel information.
So the real sources for the information in the dossier comes from the least credible sources, Russians, Sidney Blumenthal, and Cody Shearer.

My statement makes if very clear that I'm using the facts to form my opinion.
White House visitor logs shows that the wife of Glenn Simpson (owner of Fusion GPS), Mary B. Jacoby visited the White House in April 2016.
After that meeting FEC records show that Hillary's campaign, the DNC, and Obama for America began to pay Perkins Coie, who hired Fusion GPS to create the Steel dossier.
Those are the facts, based on the facts, it's my opinion that Obama knew what was going on from April 2016 onward.

See this is why its so hard to argue with some folks here. They simply deny reality. Lets take this one. Obama did nothing.....other then:
expel Russian spies working here as diplomats
seize multiple properties
try and get the GOP to work with him on this (The GOP instead threatened him if he tried to reveal it)
implement sanctions on Russia
and direct his agencies to investigate.
When folks start just denying reality, its hard to have a rational discussion with them.
Instead we have nonsense like this whole topic where they try and make up some fantasy about Obama being some mastermind behind it all despite multiple glaring flaws in their reasoning.
