Read any post by BentBow on education, including this one, and you'll see that it is not education he fears, but indoctrination. Those are two very different things. The former is teaching how to think, the latter is commanding what to think.
This thread is aimed at the dangers that compulsory indoctrination poses to freedom and liberty. Pretty simple message really.
It is surprising the number of posters think the schools are run by Communists. My kids and grandkids, sisters, cousins, nieces, 2 nephews and various friends teach school. Not one of them is anything but a Constitution loving American.
These teacher hating people get to elect their local school boards and participate in the hiring of the superintendent.
If the communists and/or socialist have infiltrated the schools it is because the community is not paying attention.
The OP has it all wrong. The public schools in my area indoctrinate kids into fascism with an anti-colonial mindset and a deep seated hatred for white people. Beginning with kindergarten, kids are taught to support the Bilderberg/Illiuminati plot called Agenda 21 with a goal of preparing the US for the arrival of our next Kenyan overlord that will force us all to speak Spanish while reading the Koran.
I have seen the memo, ask Alex Jones he will know what I am talking about.
I think the larger problem is these young kids are being taught to be obedient and subservient above anything else. Im sorry to say, but we are NOT TO be obedient or subservient to a tyrannical govt, our duty as citizens require the opposite actually.

I want my kids to learn Math, Science, Business, History, English, Arts, etc. I don't want them to learn that Communism is better than Capitalism, and that the Democrat/Communist path is the best, and only way. I also don't want them to learn that a gun on its own is bad, and dangerous, and the criminal that sometimes wields it in violence is OK.
