Simple, really.

The investigation is undermining his Presidency. There are still people out there that will hold up signs on the weekend and have bumper stickers on their cars that read "not my president". If there is nothing to the Russian collusion as we keep hearing then they should wrap it up.
Of course there will still be many that will suffer from their Trump Derangement Syndrome but I think by wrapping up the investigation it will help some of these suffering people and over all it will help America heal a bit of the divide.

I suspect that this matter will dog Trump until 2020 or even 2024. He could become a great President that really does some amazing things for America and its people but the history books and Mount Rushmore when his mug is chiseled on there will have a asterisk next to his name reading Russian Collusion.

Trump says a lot of things. Most of which aren't true.

When POTUS Trump took office, I told myself I'd hold my nose and root for his conservative agenda. But I've grown tired of his shenanigans. I'm ready for Trump to quit once Mueller gets too close. Pence actually knows how to govern.
