He really is powerful. No wonder so many people here are afraid of him.

The fact remains that Laura Ingraham misrepresented the statement as whining and based on previous Fox News sponsor shaming, Hogg simply named sponsors and others tweeted at them. I don't see how this is bullying.
It's getting ready to happen again with Sinclair Broadcasting.

Being 'smart enough' has very little to do with getting into a California State University. Almost all the kids who apply are smart enough. What probably hurt his chances more than anything else is that he had to apply as a non-resident. For the past year or so all Cal State Universities limit the number of out of state or foreign students accepted each year to 20%.

He said that in the TMZ interview that was the "whining" Inghram alluded to. However UCLA didn't use that in an attack on a teenager.

Which reminds me of a detail then I saw on that vlog where the vlogger posted the following in this description:

David Hogg says he speaks for the younger generation, but seems all a bit too happy to work with elite including politicians, large media outlets, and now Corporate America? What happened to "sticking it up to the man"?

Hogg wasn't. SAT score was too low.

So your contention is that since he represents kids he has no right to work with others who support his cause? That's a little odd since our President campaigned on representing the average working class American but loaded his cabinet with financial elites and just a few weeks ago attended a Hollywood California fundraiser Trump's Beverly Hills fundraiser expected to raise $5 million

You can't have it both ways my friend, if David Hogg is being a hypocrite - then so is Donald Trump.

He is not a CA resident and these are all state schools, which I believe do have a preference requirement of some kind for CA residents. Plus the UC system is very competitive, he did get into at least one of the CSU schools. He presumably would have no problem getting into UF or FSU of UCF or any of the FL public universities.

But Ingraham did not need a valid reason, she's just a sociopath that is not capable of empathy or sympathy. She simply cannot relate to the pain and suffering of others. This is a common thread of current day Republicans.
His SAT score puts him right at the bottom 25% of the University of Florida SAT score range. So he may well have a problem getting admitted there.

This is such a dumb discussion. I don't know why he is complaining in public about not getting accepted to colleges when he doesn't have competitive scores. I don't know why Laura Ingraham bothered to comment on it. Both are ridiculous.

Because teenagers put stuff like that on social media all the time. The put their whole life on social media. If they get fired from a job, they put it on social media, even when it's their fault for getting fired.

If they missed the school bus because they were late, they put in on social media. If they get a flat tire, they post it on social media, often with a photo. If their boyfriend/girlfriend breaks up with them it's posted on social media.

That's how they roll.

Maybe Mr Hogg should be mad at affirmative action DACA kids and the state of CA since he is a white boy who ranks low on the pecking order in college admittance.

His white privilege is showing. Who knows, he might even become a conservative if he thinks about that one.

If he was a POC (and an illegal) he might have been accepted into those schools.
