Please. Republicans were enraged when bin Laden was killed on Obama's watch. One would think after eight years they would be thrilled but no. This could turn out okay or go badly, there's no way to know. But North Korea is starving to death so it would have resolved itself one way or another. Problem is, Trump is rude and obnoxious on a good day and I don't want us getting in a war over his fragile ego.

Everyone should be happy about this, even though I know the hate for Trump is so strong that saving countries and preventing further death and starvation won't be enough to stop it. And it is staggering that you think legitimizing someone like Kim Jung-un by elevating him to the status of an equal to the President of the US is a positive thing, never mind the earth shatteringly good thing you seem to pathetically believe it is.
If you don't believe that ANY OTHER US president who was willing to meet with Kim would have been welcomed with open arms, you are completely mistaken. They recognized the dangers of that and refrained. Trump is so far beyond his abilities at this point, it's not even funny. I'd like to hope I'm wrong, but to act like this meeting is the equivalent of world peace is simply stupid.
